He is known for his level headed expertise and also consults on new product ideas and business development. Jack is a product designer and holds a multitude of patents and trademarks himself. So, he is value orientated toward the worth of patents, trademarks and has respect for his clients real needs. With about five decades of experience as a master draftsman illustrator Jack has worked on over four thousand product development projects during his career. His technical drawings and illustrations appear in thousands of patents and many publications throughout the world. One such publication, Leonardo's Lost Robots, was a winner of the 2006 PSP Award For Excellence presented by the Association of American Publishers. As an advocate for inventors, Jack has been on the board of directors for GRIT (Grass Roots Innovative Technology Association) a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to education and innovation. He has also served for over 10 years as Vice President and President of the Inventors' Network IN and United Inventors Association UIA, both are 501(c)3 non-profit corporations dedicated to education and innovation. Jack has spoken and lectured frequently on the creative process and practical application of innovation principles. He has been an honorary speaker at Minnesota School of Business, Dunwoody Technical Institute, United States Patent and Trademark Office USPTO Patent Depository Library Program, to name a few. He has served as judge for the Industrial Designers Society of America IDSA at the University of Wisconsin, Stout.
